I was really nervous about finding a wedding photographer since I don't usually like pictures being taken of me. Enter Alyssa, who perfectly fit the vibe. She was in the right place at the right time, gave thoughtful posing cues, and was just enjoyable to be around and joke with while we were shooting. She got through the formal pictures super quickly so my family could enjoy cocktail hour and even the bridal portraits didn't take that long. She was all over the dance floor taking shots of our friends and just seemed to know how to capture everyone perfectly.
My favorite part might be that Alyssa sends completed sneak-peak pictures the day following the wedding that I could share out on my instagram and to my family and friends the very next morning. Even so, my album came back super quickly and is so beautiful, I haven't stopped looking at the pictures and reliving the day.
We can't recommend Alyssa highly enough as a photographer for your wedding (or really any life milestone). We loved that she is especially talented at capturing candid moments so well. She was EXTREMELY easy to work with - super responsive and positive, committed to understanding our vision for the photos we wanted and supporting that rather than imposing her own. Over the weekend, she captured everything beautifully and was a wonderful presence but without overpowering -- I never felt like photos took away from the experience of the weekend. And the final results were STUNNING -- we absolutely LOVE them and that we feel they are a bit more unique than the average wedding photo. (So much that we have blown up multiple shots of her work and framed it in our living room!) She is a master at capturing delicate in-between moments artistically. We strongly recommend her!
We found Alyssa through wedding wire when we started searching for photographers for our wedding. She was local and had many great reviews, not to mention that her portfolio also had stunning beach pictures. She is most professional and approachable. Unlike most vendors she took the time to get to know us during our info chat/phone conversation. Alyssa was amazing and very flexible through the whole wedding process. She wanted the best for us and made sure we got what we wanted/made our vision come true. She made posing for and taking engagement pictures as least awkward as it can be.
She went above and beyond when it came to our wedding day. She helped confirm my wedding timeline so we got all the photos I wanted and didn’t have to worry about them on day of. She gets everyone moving so it’s efficient and you don’t have to take so much time away from your special day! Alyssa was so generous with her time and flexible with our photo locations! The pictures she took came out amazing, and helped turn a rainy day into an unforgettable one. What an incredibly talented photographer! We couldn’t believe she doesn’t do this full time! She is worth the investment! Alyssa is timely in returning photos which is quite a requirement and not always guaranteed! She got us a bunch of edited photos back the morning after the wedding. It only took a few weeks after that to get the entire album. We were so impressed by her presentation of the flash drive when we received in the mail. We felt extra special. You won’t be disappointed! We would recommend Alyssa to anyone who wants to have amazing, unforgettable wedding photos.
Alyssa was simply AMAZING as our photographer. From our engagement shoot, to a covid elopement, and our big day, everything was perfect. We had a VERY large wedding party and she was able to make it seem effortless. She so helpful and flexible with every single session. Alyssa is amazing and takes beautiful pictures. She is so easy to be around and makes you feel super comfortable. My husband and I don't love having a picture taken but she make it fun and easy. Alyssa takes a ton of pictures! They all came out amazing and we have gotten so many compliments about how outstanding our photographer is!

Alyssa is a gem! Our photos are better than I could have possibly imagined, partially because she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed while taking them. She was so easy and great to work with, gave great day of wedding tips, and it felt like we were being photographed by a friend. I have no idea how I will choose which photos to print and hang, she did such a great job!
Alyssa was a dream! She was so easy to work - attentive yet laid back, directive when needed, and flexible and accommodating with the ever-changing schedule of a wedding during COVID. Her photos allowed us to relive our perfect day, capturing everything from getting ready (even my pup Nellie got some glam shots!), to the church ceremony, to family photos, to late night dancing.
